ABOUT
Established in 2012 by a group of De Montfort University students, Riders of Shaam has since gone on to host annual cycle rides to different parts of Europe. Having raised over £430,000 for many worthy causes and you can see all our previous rides clicking here.
The name 'Riders of Shaam' is to highlight the challenge of riding a bike for the purpose of raising money for the war-torn areas of 'Shaam'.
Charities we have worked with:
Ummah Welfare Trust | Islamic Relief | Human Appeal | One Nation | LOROS | Penny Appeal | Rainbows Children Hospice | REVIVE |
LIA Relief Trust
OUR MISSION
Our goal is to raise funds for the neediest causes nationally and world-wide.
Our focus has been around ‘Shaam’ especially Syria, Palestine and Gaza, due to its increasing number of civilian casualties and death tolls.
Taking part in an ROS event will challenge you mentally and physically, and you'll meet new people and share an amazing experience along the way!
